How many of you reading this are D.Gray-man fans?
Well, if you don't want any disappointment, please stop reading further!
According to AtlanticAnime.com, there's some pretty... well, depressing news about the series as a whole.
First of all, much to my shock, the reason why D.Gray-man the anime has such a strange ending is because it was part of a big anime cut by the studio that made it last year. It not only cut dgm, but Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2 and Tsubasa as well. I'm hoping that because all of them are pretty big names and because the anime was left at a very cliff-hanger-ey/open-ended ending, that there will eventually be a continuation.
Second, is that dgm the manga is currently "indefinitely on hiatus". Yup, that's the scary, dreaded "might be cut" kind of "indefinitely on hiatus". Why do people say this? Because the note at the end of the latest page of the manga states that the series is going on hiatus and that we will be notified of when the continuation is scheduled. Not re-scheduled. Just "scheduled". There ARE a few rumors going around that Katsura Hoshino-sensei is ill again, and the silver lining to this scenario is that she'll come back after a while to give us new chapters!
I guess, at this point, that we can only hope for the best.
